What matters - The family |
This is about the inner circle that shapes our everyday life: the two of us and our children. The big, open and loving family where I come from and which is always present in the background, my parents to whom I owe everything, have others meeting places.
Michel Valloisborn 1945 in Paris; studied Political Sciences, Arab and Hebrew in Paris and Jerusalem; taught Political Sciences at the American University of New Orleans, “Tulane”, in Paris; translator from German to French (books and articles); civil servant at the municipality of Paris; now retired, Michel translates poetry and gives free rein to his passion for music, especially to playing the French Horn, and singing in a choir. Michel’s translation of Rose Ausländer’s poetry collection “Blinder Sommer - Eté aveugle” has been published in 2015 by Héros-Limite in Geneva.

Ouriel Vallois
born 1980 at Neuilly-sur-Seine; studied History of Art at the university of Lille and took a foundation course at the School of Fine Arts in Clermont-Ferrand; work experience in cabinet making in Goettingen (Germany); training course for design in Köln (Germany); apprenticeship for the making and restoration of stained glass windows at the GRETA in Chartres; employment in the workshops for stained glass windows of Jean-Jacques Fanjat in Lyon and at the S.A.R.L. Vitrail in Nantes; stage design for the pocket opera “Alice in Wonderland” produced by the Jeunesses musicale de France; exhibitions in Fécamp, Chartres, Maules and Nantes. Ouriel has made a formation as a librarian et works actually in a library. At the same time he continues his work as an independant artist.
